Fashion tips for petites!

wholesale t-shirtsI have to admit, I love petite ladies. If you’re not tall, you turn tough, rough and determined. But well, if you are shorter than average, you might have a couple of problems when shopping for clothes. I know that many boutiques don’t buy a lot of wholesale t-shirts in small sizes. While you look short, you can also avoid looking tiny or too plump.

If you are petite, width is your worst enemy. Therefore, if you’re petite, you should look at tailored, straight-legged and flat-fronted trousers. These will make your legs look longer since the hemlines of your trousers will ideally reach the bottom of your heels. You will probably have a short torso, so your waistband can’t be higher than your navel. Your trousers should hug your figure, even if you are curvy. Create an hourglass figure, it’s better than being dumpy: avoid baggy trousers, sweatpants, low-slung waistbands and cropped trousers. Your skirts and dresses should also follow this principle. Petite women look great in dresses because a vertical, single color column will make your body appear taller. However, you should avoid A-line skirts or 1950s gathered skirts. The best style for the skirt is a pencil skirt, which will show off your legs.

If you want to elongate your body, focus on deep V-neck plunging collar line. Avoid crop tops and baggy tops like loose sweatshirts. Instead, pick fitted wholesale t-shirts. Your tops should also be more fitted – structured jackets with slim sleeves, or elegant blazers. Avoid double-breasted suit jackets since they will make you look broader and shorter. Instead, pick jackets or single-breasted, slim fitted knee length coats.

Finally, you can rely on accessories. If your shoes, for example, match your natural skin color, you also will look taller. Consider round-toed ballet pumps, or pointy shoes with kitten heels. Sure, you want to wear high heels, but avoid wedges, ankle straps, and boots. You shouldn’t wear large accessories – a massive handbag will make you look overwhelmed. Your accessories should be like you: full of finesse and grace.
